Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about booking live entertainment in Denver and across Colorado.

Booking Process

Step 1 — Tell us about your event. Contact us via the booking form, email us at booking@optimoentertainment.com, or call (720) 266-8231. Share your event date, venue, audience size, preferred vibe, and budget.

Step 2 — We find your perfect match. We hand-select artists from our Denver and Colorado roster that fit your vision. We handle all logistics, rider requirements, and scheduling.

Step 3 — Enjoy an unforgettable event. Your artist shows up prepared, professional, and ready to exceed expectations. You just relax and enjoy.

For Denver weddings and large corporate events, we recommend booking 3–6 months in advance to ensure availability of your preferred artists. For smaller private events, 4–8 weeks is typically sufficient.

Peak seasons — summer weekends (June–August), holiday season (November–January), and Valentine's weekend — fill up fast. The sooner you reach out, the more options you'll have.

Absolutely. We work closely with professional wedding planners, event coordinators, and venue managers throughout Denver and Colorado. We understand your role and make entertainment logistics as smooth as possible — timely communication, professional riders, flexible artists who adapt to changing schedules, and clear day-of coordination.

Pricing varies based on artist, band size, number of sets, travel requirements, and event type. Solo performers and smaller acts start at a lower price point, while full bands with 6–12 pieces for 3+ hours of reception entertainment are priced accordingly.

We work with a wide range of budgets and can recommend artists that deliver maximum impact within your budget. Contact us for a no-obligation custom quote.

This varies by artist. Some of our bands include sound equipment and a sound engineer in their packages, while others work with your venue's AV setup or require you to provide a PA system. We'll clearly outline technical requirements for your chosen artist when you book, so there are no surprises on event day.

Yes! Colorado's mountain venues — from Vail to Telluride to Breckenridge — are some of the most spectacular wedding destinations in the country. We have experience booking entertainment for mountain events and can recommend artists with the flexibility and professionalism to thrive in those settings. Travel logistics and accommodations are factored into mountain bookings.

Event Types

The right entertainment depends on your vibe. For cocktail hour, jazz ensembles or steel pan music set a sophisticated, relaxed tone. For the reception, high-energy bands like Little Moses Jones or Sway Party Band get every guest on the dance floor. Many couples combine a smaller acoustic act for cocktail hour with a full band for the reception. Tell us your vision and we'll recommend the perfect combination.

Corporate events benefit from entertainment that's both impressive and professional. For galas and award ceremonies, jazz acts like Tony Exum Jr create elegant ambiance. For company parties and holiday events, high-energy bands like Sway Party Band or Little Moses Jones bring incredible energy. For something truly memorable and conversation-starting, The Magic of Don Z's close-up magic is always a crowd favorite at corporate functions.

Absolutely. Private celebrations — bar mitzvahs, quinceañeras, milestone birthdays, anniversary parties, private galas — are some of our most rewarding bookings. We work with the host to understand the audience, the vibe, and the occasion, then match the perfect artist to make it an unforgettable night. The Sway Party Band, in particular, is very popular for bar mitzvahs due to their flexible sizing and crowd engagement.
